4 The most fun I have in this game, is when I know that my own actions directly led to victory. Everyone has their own enjoyment from the game, however we're all human. And ego is an inseparable part of us, when you try to dilute individual presence into a homogenous blob (team) then you lose a lot of appeal for some people. I can tolerate being forced to share resources with less competent allies morphing their commander to level 10 while not making any metal extractors. 6 The most fun I have in this game, is when I know that my own actions directly led to victory. 6 New players are a perfect example of how the unintuitive game systems run contrary to human behavior, they will enthusiastically claim resource spots and even destroy allied resource mexes just to place their own. You can claim this is simply ignorance of game rules. Who is to blame for user (player) not interacting with an interface (game) in the intended way?
