4 You can't stop people from going AFK. It's going to happen, no matter what you do. That's just how life works. You can reduce it, but I don't think that any of these things will reduce the problem at all. I am saying that I think there is already enough punishment. If someone goes AFK, whoever gets their units could very well be 1) getting them destroyed when AFK player returns, and 2) altering the entire game for that player, who knows you could have ruined some of their plans. 4 You can't stop people from going AFK. 6 I would argue that quite a bit, like maybe 40% of the times people go AFK are going AFK for a good reason. People's games can crash whether they have good hardware or not. I don't think people should have to decide between their life and the game, they should be able to keep on living and also have some fun playing ZK. It's no fun when you have to wait a whole minute or two to rejoin the game because the mailman just dropped a computer part off at the top of your long driveway and it was raining. 6 I would argue that quite a bit, like maybe 40% of the times people go AFK, they are going AFK for a good reason. 8 There will always be people who go AFK for a bad reason as well, but that's because you can't know; there's no way of knowing the true reason why someone went AFK, so there is no way to know who to punish, who to annoy. 8 There will always be people who go AFK for a bad reason as well, but that's because you can't know; there's no way of knowing the true reason why someone went AFK, so there is no way to know who to punish, who to annoy.
