The moderation team is generally not comfortable making judgements about what is not valid play based on our own opinions. Things like "if you play newton ramp, or ships on a land map, there is more of an onus on you to demonstrate that you are playing respectfully to your team" have come about because they appeared to be the consensus position of the community.

Speaking for myself, I don't see a reason to say that "starting at the back and sucking up all reclaim with athenas for some vanity project" is definitively valid play.
