1 I dont have anything against Eridug, and honestly here is a list of random thoughts: 1 I dont have anything against Eridug, and honestly here is a list of random thoughts:
2 -My reaction to him on my team is largely based on team size. For large teams he is a very useful and good player (economy, repair/support, grid, providing bp assist to players like me (thx)). I see nothing wrong with his lack of units in large teams (he plays well enough based on his rank, even better honestly with good support since most people his rank dont fare to well at the front anyways, so he is very useful). Now this becomes more complicated for small teams, like a 3v3 with eridug is much much harder. While support is good in large teams, small teams are far more intense and the short term need of units/front makes having eridug a -1 player. I would love for him to try playing more front in small teams (<5v5) but I can still respect his contributions in large teams. 2 -My reaction to him on my team is largely based on team size. 3 -At first I did not like him too much as he spammed random economy and my first few interactions were in small teams. But after a while I sorta like him in large teams and have no problems with him. He plays well according to his rank (why do people expect way to much from new players anyways?) and does a lot of stuff that is lets others dedicate apm to the front. Sure he is not holding entire fronts alone or doing game winning flanks/troll strats, but he plays not too bad and helps with backline things (very good for his rank). 3 -At first I did not like him too much as he spammed random economy and my first few interactions were in small teams. 4 -TLDR: nice guy, plays at his own pace (we need to respect stuff like this for large teams open room....) and trys to do his best. 4 -TLDR: nice guy, plays at his own pace (we need to respect stuff like this for large teams open room....) and trys to do his best.

6 On a side note: 6 On a side note:
7 This whole series of things does expose a problem in ZK community. There is far too much elitism and good players demanding low ranked players to play good. Like a new player will 99% of the time build a storage, its just natural for new rts players to do so. And sure we can tell them to not do so, but its ultimately their choice to build storage and its just part of their learning curve. If its a <red, then its obvious that they are a new player and still learning, demanding too much of them seems unfair and rather like bullying. Though I suppose in small teams the opposite argument is valid as it becomes far more competitive and each player has a far greater responsibility to the team. 7 This whole series of things does expose a problem in ZK community.
