Thanks a bunch for looking into this. Agreed that "user error" is not really the right term here, but it's pretty damn close in that as the user, I can kind of prevent it from happening by angling properly from the onset.

Could
one
of
the
main
contributors
be
placement
of
the
rearming
pad?
Like,
if
the
pad
is
close
to
the
middle
of
the
base,
then
there's
s
a
50%
chance
that
it'll
hang
north
and
50%
chance
that
it'll
hang
south.
But
if
the
rearming
pad
is
on
the
far
north
side,
it's
much
easier
to
predict
where
it'll
go.
.
?
Not
sure
if
that's
actually
how
that
works
-
just
spitballing.

Think we talked about this a long while back. IIRC, one of the conclusions was that if it's already banking towards the rearm pad then gets a command that would lead it to banking the other direction, it'd just be a simple calculation to check if the time to get to the rearm pad is longer if it needs to switch to banking the opposition direction.

-An attack command won't just fly directly straight, but instead automatically attempts to kite the bomb drop at an angle.
