3 I paused development of the voiced Audio Alerts to instead focus on the underlying problems with zero-K’s overall sound design. I’m now nearing the end of that sound design overhaul and it will hopefully be pushed out to everyone soon. 3 I paused development of the voiced Audio Alerts to instead focus on the underlying problems with zero-K’s overall sound design. 5 With Zero-K’s sound being less messy, I’m now looking back at voiced audio alerts with the benefit of being able to mull it over while putting hours into sound design. I’ve got a fairly robust Text To Speech prototype working now that I’ll be expanding out to replace the files I originally posted at the top of this thread. I’ve also done some bug fixes and got a consolidated menu toggle for each of the alerts. Here’s where you come in: I’m posting the working script below, and I’m looking for blind spots on alerts that you think should be turned on by default but aren’t covered in the script. I’m looking for the essentials rather than something that’s simply useful, that will come later when the essentials are hammered out. 5 With Zero-K’s sound being less messy, I’m now looking back at voiced audio alerts with the benefit of being able to mull it over while putting hours into sound design.
