I'll give my 2 cents on things that I have at least some knowledge on.

Merlin can I think already shoot it's missile at planes (or at least gunships).

Having a specialised single cell on it for that sort of role is just too akward.

AA striders are a no go, as ground AA needs be vunerable (to ground units or sniping) to be interesting. Otherwise it is just a big fun stopper specifically for air play.

Artemis is the closest we'll get to an AA strider, it is a building by design as to be snipeable, and all mobile ground AA is short enough range to be interesting to play around at frontlines.

I didnt touch Funnelweb because I have no idea that would work and I'm unsure if it needs a change to be more interesting.

Funnelweb is technically pretty strong, but maybe hard to use/synergise with. But if you do manage to put it's shield in the right place to support a push it is quite strong. This is already fun, but just a little difficult.

Mobile repair turrets seems to be just a little janky from an implementation standpoint.

I've seen suggestions made on the BAR side of things too, but iirc no actual implementation has surfaced so far.

Easiest thing probably would be to have drones that do the repairing. Or a dgun for mini caretakers.

But both of those are not much different from what funnel does already.

PD or anti missile/interceptor weapons could exist technically, but it does introduce a whole other aspect of "Why does this get intercepted and this not."

Functionally it wouldn't be too different from a sort of shield in the end, while also messing with overkill prevention, so is not worth just adding.

It would need to be a very well though out concept that includes everything in zk, and even then wouldnt necessarily be much better or different than having one aspis in current zk.

Mh,
for
Merlin
and
Scylla
I
think
the
core
thing
that
irks
me
is
that
while
effective
tools
(
especially
scylla)
they're
not
particulalry
interesting
tools
to
use
or
to
be
hit
by.
It's
fine
that
theyre
spellcasters
this
also
keeps
them
appart
from
normal
artillery,
but
maybe
their
spells
could
be
more
interesting
is
the
point.
(
scylla
is
interesting
to
synergise
with
though)

The interesting stuff from Merlin's dgun here could easily be carried over to merlins base weapon, and for scylla, maybe using a lesser but cheaper warhead could be interesting to differentiate it more from silo while giving you more opportunity to play scylla gambling (and inverse scylla gambling in dodging).
