Wild random idea: Mexes are automatically in OD grid (as in, remove OD grid, mexes get it automatically, just like builders). Maybe even cap it, who knows. Reuse grid for heavy porc.

It's a pretty bold change, but it just came to my mind and doesn't seem that flawed (it even helps fix the porc thing, because you can now balance grid without affecting od).

Is the problem that singu gives too much e? Is it really? Or is it that OD is that effective with even few mexes? Keep in mind, it's an eco structure that you invest a lot into. It would be pointless to make if there was no gain out of it.

The biggest problem i see is that the first singu gives you a really large boost, and the successive ones only give less. On the one hand this is great to discourage spamming them for endless eco, but on the other hand an earlier singu can be gamebreaking, which encourages rushing.

The way out of this would (in my eyes) be more reward for landgrab. It's ok if singu gives you crazy od when you have the mex advantage and the grid built, but it shouldn't be better than having a lot of mexes with less grid coverage.
