3 I like the idea, but it should be subtle. Probably have it so that the most any channel drops is to 2/3rds. That is, if you are focused on the left side of the map, and the other player is focused on the right side, you'd only hear the left channel drop by 1/3rd ( so 2dB) when they were speaking. 3 I like the idea, but it should be subtle.
