1 I agree with Ivory in the way that if the Venom was to cause any amount of damage, it would become too powerful - essentially, an All-Terrain Zeus of sorts. 1 I agree with Ivory in the way that if the Venom was to cause any amount of damage, it would become too powerful - essentially, an All-Terrain Zeus of sorts.

3 IMHO, the best solution is to give spiders a dedicated riot unit. Fleas serve well as raiders (they are the weakest ones, but also the cheapest), but the Venom + Hermit combination is next to useless. 3 IMHO, the best solution is to give spiders a dedicated riot unit. 5 In that regard, I agree with DarkStar that the best weapon to give to a riot spider unit would be a gauss cannon (maybe two). The unit would be effective against small clusters of enemies, but it would lack the AoE sported by most riot units. 5 In that regard, I agree with DarkStar that the best weapon to give to a riot spider unit would be a gauss cannon (maybe two). 7 It would then be a decent riot unit. Probably not the best ( as it shouldn't be, anyway) , but still the best. 7 It would then be a decent riot unit. Probably not the best ( as it shouldn't be, anyway) , but still useful.

9 One suggestion: make it a scorpion-like unit with one tail (1 gauss cannon) or 2 (two gauss cannons), and call it Ambusher. 9 One suggestion: make it a scorpion-like unit with one tail (1 gauss cannon) or 2 (two gauss cannons), and call it Ambusher.

11 Finally, I agree with Anarchid in the way that jumpjets are currently way better to deploy then spiders in most situations. Spiders are only useful if most of the map is made of terrain that is both elevated enough to block vehicles and most ground units, but not too steep to heavily slow down spiders. 11 Finally, I agree with Anarchid in the way that jumpjets are currently way better to deploy then spiders in most situations.
