It's worthwhile watching the previous two games too, Multiplayer B192752 2 on Red Comet and Multiplayer B192756 2 on Red Comet. They show how my vehicle play totally fails to Godde's hover play and how I try and adapt to his tactics. Managed to find something that works but it was -really- hard.

Here, CArankAdminShadowfury333 you want to cast some high elo games, cast these 3.

I was going to cast these myself but I never got my equipment working.

To talk you through it so you know what you're looking at, Godde's hovercraft play, which is entirely scrubber dependent, is pretty well known. When people say 'Hovercraft suck' someone else points to Godde's hover play to show just how unstoppable the high alpha from a critical mass of scrubbers becomes. Once you get enough to 1-shot an enemy, this ensures the enemy is always taking attrition damage.

So, I try to beat it with vehicles. And fail. Horribly. Mostly because Godde is just that good (he IS actually taking a handicap by playing hovers here). They can completely snipe out Scorchers, and whatever else I build just doesn't cut it, even Leveler/Ravager (As I recall) because it affords him total map control.

In this third game, wracking my brain, I resort to Slasher + Dart. He takes too much attrition damage from the Slashers, his aggression costs him too much, he cannot hit and run and never gets that critical '1-shot' mass, while the darts are cheaper and faster than the scrubbers, giving me better coverage and being able to stop him naked expanding. So he switches to Halberds, which hardcounter Slashers. Thing is, Scorchers hardcounter Halberds, so he is basically baiting me into making Scorchers so he can snipe them with the Scrubbers, but I manage to hold my ground with dart + slasher. As he switches to other units he loses all that pressure and map control that scrubber spam affords him (Seriously, playing against this, I could feel my heart slow back down and crawl back down into my chest once he finally switched off scrubbers).

I'd be interested to know what Godde thinks of the games and the veh/hover matchup in general too for that matter. It's not very typical matchup because you sort of have to remember that the Slasher is a riot unit that fills the gaps that Leveler does not cover (which apparently seems to include the scrubber).

Yeah. I think hover vs vehicle match-up is pretty fun. Usually I just spam Scrubbers and gain map control. I don't even have to make cost with the scrubbers because it gives me so good map control that I can expand without defence.
Darts however can keep my scrubbers occupied in defence or force me to make defense turrets.
Against slashers its a razors thin edge. If I'm successful I can keep overrunning and destroying them. If not I can get pushed back.
Generally I don't want to let the vehicle player get to the stage where they can field lots of ravagers. Although I can make another factory at that point anyway.
