Game for analysis. I suggest you evaluate the role of AA in this game. It is important to understand that AA is a defensive unit that does not provide anything other than protection. A long time ago I once argued that there is a % price when AA should be effective. If an aviation unit overcomes this percentage, then the aviation is not balanced, this is due to the fact that aa units cannot shoot.

My initial superficial comment after watching this replay at high speed is that I am a bit suspicious of plopping spiders plus amph in a 2v2. Feels slow.

To be clear, I am not saying that means the role Revenant played in this game is necessarily okay. Just the first thought that comes to my mind.

I think you could argue that south team could guess a Revenant was coming and could have protected their coms slightly better (especially since they're both engineer coms), but it certainly looks like less of an overextension than the Ravaged game was. (On a second viewing, maybe you are supposed to not pick the fight with izirayd's com if you think a Revenant is likely.)

That being said, I'm not sure that this game would have gone much differently if Revenant were mildly nerfed. So unless Revenant gets redesigned or owled, protecting your commander when you smell a Revenant coming might just be how the game needs to be played.

From what I've seen, you don't really want to make mobile AA vs a lone Revenant. The problem here seemed to be that Duck is quite sad because its missiles run out, and Venom isn't really a raider. Then the lack of Archer makes me wonder how much of this was a Revenant problem, and how much was an Amph vs. Cloaky problem.

It's a delusion. Rev is an unstoppable threat, you have to do aa. That's why this unit annoys me. In most games I spent 1000 metal towards the mid-game on aa, which greatly slowed me down in my attacks.
