Interface crash with no errors

I've been frequently getting interface failures lately upon loading the game. I'm at a loss at what to do about them because no errors are present in infolog.

Symptoms: Upon game start no UI is visible except for a frameless minimap. F5, /reload and /luaui reload fail to have any effect.

Screenshot fails to take anything other then a black screen.

I can usually fix this by completely restarting the game. I haven't observed this in any other spring games then Zero K.

Example infolog: http://pastebin.com/F45N0qNA

I don't really have much to go off of for this. Hopefully someone has an idea.

Hrm, the only error I can see is about a nil compare in Interpolate.lua, which I get too but the whole UI doesn't break. It should be fixed anyway, but that may not be the issue.

Does this only happen in large team games like the one the infolog was for, or all the time?

I've tried to reproduce this in some smaller games with no luck. Perhaps you are on to something.

This only happens about 30-50% of the time I launch a game.

Give screenshot with the related infolog (one start only please)

Read first post. I provided an infolog. Screenshot taking appears currently broken with ZK due to steam integration.

Yes, but there's really not enough info to use as is. Try to take a screenshot with a third-party tool and add a related infolog.

I was getting a similar error/crash. I updated video drivers and haven't had one since. Not sure if it's related, but worth a try.

You can also take a screenshot by saying /screenshot in the console

I've not been able to consistently reproduce this, when it has happened I haven't had time to make a report. If it comes up again I'll rez this thread.

i had exactly the same thing - linux mint cinnamon - mono dev - fixed by deleting cache and after using /luaui reload
