Why am I being kicked from planet wars, several seconds after joining? I use Spring Lobby.

Set prefered battles in home ALL TO NEVER solves the problem.

Yes! This took me a while to figure out, though I saw it happen last night. Why is this option on by default? Another noob trap - you get randomly moved to another room without understanding why. Also, does anyone directly talk to satirik? The !join command just kicks me from my current room without sending me to the target room. He doesn't have a formal bug report website AFAIK.

imo when kicked the bot should give a pm with the reason..

Yes lets be fair it is annoying currently, and again as !splitplayers useful if there would be many many players... Again licho lives in future I guess :)

now when i set all to never, it returns all to neutral... so what is the way to completly disable this annoying stuff?

|
Its currently impossible to disable it. By design. Set preference to match your real preferences for best result. If you really want to spec and not be moved around, set yourself to spectator in lobby. That will prevent any moves.

i also want all on Never back, give us freedom of choice

But you have the freedom! Just spec yourself if you want to spec.

Licho! I don't need to change my preferences each time I join a battle! I don't want to join a battle, then be moved because I forgot to go to ZK website and change my preferences *again*. Don't force stuff like this on your users.

You can ONLY be moved to game with higher or equal preference than your current one. You will ONLY be moved to another game if your game is impossible to start atm (not enough people) and the other game is.

What about if i can ONLY be moved if I choose to move?

Eh, screw it. I've got a library full of games on Steam that I haven't even played yet. I'll check in from time to time to see when I'm actually given a choice in how I want to play.

You are fine with waiting. New people arent. Goal of this system is to massively cut waiting times and increase variety of games (1v1, FFA, chickens,PW) to match user's preferene. I understand that vets who are not used to it and are used to waiting instead could be annoyed by it. Please take it as necessary evil for now. As soon as SL implement !join or as our playerbase grows it can be turned off.

Don't sacrifice your existing userbase to gain new userbase. Seriously, just give me the option to turn it off.

You can play the way you want, you can create a new private battle if you must. However for starred autohosts there is juggler and it proved massively successful.

Apologies. Licho has explained to me how it works a bit better. I am not an affected user anymore because this function was disabled to TASClient yesterday. Thanks! There's not really documentation on how this function works ATM, so maybe in the future there can be a short page describing it better. Seems I've made a fool of myself. I love this game, and love can make you say crazy things ;)

I would like to remind few key points
-
this system only works on 4 autohosts: TEAMS, 1v1, COOP and Planetwars. Any other autohost is not affected by juggler!
-
juggler is not moving SL or Tasclient users atm (until SL implements !join)
1) your battle is not running and there is no way to get enough people for it - you can be moved to other battle which you like same or more than current 2) if you joined a battle and are not spec in lobby (even if you are spectating running battle). In that case you can be moved to any game thats not "never" for you. If you want to wait for specific game type to end you have two options a) spec yourself in lobby and use !notify b) join empty autohost of the same type (prefered) - this will merge battles when game ends
