This is first time I see such an error. Can you try on different machine from same location?

I have same problem.
EDIT: Tried Springlobby. It shows me only one Zero-K battleroom - Lobster with cranberries hosted by [cranberry]Autohost.

Interesting... are your ports open? Do you know of any known ISP restrictions?

, this has absolutely nothing to do with proxies, VPNs or open ports. He's using spring lobby, which connects to the old spring server by default and doesn't support zk server protocol. If ZKL won't work, you can try
http://weblobby.springrts.com
but don't forget to set the server to lobby.zero-k.info in Settings -> Advanced.

Ik, but I was focusing on issues related to ZKL. If ZKL doesn't work, ZKL got problems.

Since weblobby works it's a problem in ZKL.

ZKL has been known to experience issues with win10... We should probably check in to see what the hell is going down between ZKL and win10

don't make things confusing. You don't need open ports to join games.

have your friends open a game with ZKL or type "/msg Springiee !spawn mod=zk:stable, title=Tunas frinds party, password=asdf" in chat in weblobby (sans the quotes).

If you join the host it should say:
"Hi %u (%d), welcome to Cranberry (SPADS automated host). This is an unofficial host. For the best zero-k experience visit their official hosts at zero-k.info. Until then, enjoy your stay at Lobster with cranberries."
Maybe it should include that you need to use ZKL or weblobby for that?
