I have been working on a 28mm (and 15mm) scale tabletop wargaming adaptation of Total Annihilation. Here is some of the progress I have made:

Zero K table game like WH40 000 figures? In real life vs some players could be very funny.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Merck, they are all 3D printed using a Monoprice Mini Delta at 0.1mm-0.071mm layer height. I then prime/hand paint them to get as true to original as I can.

Senaven, that is the plan. I have a couple friends who play TA/Spring mods. I am currently developing rules that will be inspired by both 40K style games and Total Annihilation: mex/expansion/etc.

FFC, thats a Core T3 hovertank called the Sokolov from the Spring RTS mod Balanced Annihilation. http://springrts.ru:8080/ba906/corsok.html

I didn't realize it wasn't an original TA unit when i included it in the starter army sets I created. Apparently these T3 hovers are "controversial" units on BA due to their impact on sea balance.

Awesome work! It looks super cool!

(ps: Hide the singu if you want other units to survive if it explodes)

Nice. I can't tell whether they are painted or printed with colour. Have you tried any ZK models, I imagine the increased detail may make them fiddlier.

Epic! Are you going to beg CArankAdminShadowfury333 to cast the first game somehow?! ;)

GoogleFrog, they are hand painted. Some of the closeup shots at https://tabletopannihilation.imgur.com/ show some of the detail that would not be printable. Painting was time consuming. I would really like to get a color 3D printer as my next step in this project.

I just started playing ZK so I haven't tried any ZK models yet, but I'll print some of my favorites soon. I think they will be easier to print because they appear to be complete 3D models. The TA models are not solid objects, they are hollow, made of 2D faces with open undersides; takes some work to make them solid/printable.
