disabled factories / static builders in mid
disabled transport units
ai gets storage
disabled unit transfer between players
added rearm pads on each side
added aa to base turrets

These changes make me unhappy. :(
(apart from AI getting storage)

I feel you're removing a lot of interesting possibilities and making it more one dimensional.

I like these changes, it was too easy to cheese the map and just snipe enemy turret. It's a map about making a better unit combo than your opponent, not ignoring the whole premise and just ending the match with player controlled arti or slowly creeping porc. You can do that in normal games.

And one more thing can be done - reset unit attack stance to green when they become ai units. Dats would counter closed halberd spams and also makes limpet spam less op.

I think fire-at-will limpets are actually likely more effective than holdfire limpets that most people send.

Hmm but if this all limpets will rush into one reaper and die making limited gain while they spread in no attack stance and get into stright unit ball to detonate?

I mean, @kabudasa spent 8000 metal on those planes. For that price he could have made a couple of Cerebrus in mid and won like that.

Jumpbots, mainly Jacks, were launched by Newtons into the enemy bases.
Dominatrices seemed unable capture those jacks owned by enemy players.
This may be a bug related to map, given unit transfer between players is disabled.
Is it possible to disable it only in the same team?

I played this today and I gotta say, this is fun. Its a pretty solid alternate gameplay mode.

However, there are still some loopholes to close. being able to build strategic weapons in one's own base might go against the spirit of the map. We just had a game end via our turret being nuked.

Also, its possible to lob units from base into the field using lobster/newton.

I dunno if the map maker already took this into account, but commander rezzing stuff could also break the mod, as well as djinns, specially rezzing a djinn with a com.

GBrankdyth68 IMO, all instawin cheese should be cut to a minimum and made as hard as possible to access. Likhos can be both cloned and used manually while waiting to get enough to kill the Stinger. The objective becomes "avoid losing on the lane until you get four Likhos". Not good.

About air in general, GS has plenty use as a support fac on lane (although Gnat/Revenant can still be used to instakill Stinger). Planes however don't. I struggle to come up with a way to use cloned planes on lane without them being borderline useless. At the same time, planes have the most potential to skip the intended way of playing the map and straight up win. In the current version planes might as well be banned since they contribute little else than breaking the map ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think we can expect every unit type to work well on alternate game modes like this. Planes are the most micro-dependent factory by far so its only natural that they break, but they can have some uses on edge cases so I'd be cooler if they didn't have to be banned.

lost a game to a bertha smashing the units i am cloning.. the need for anti, extra aa, flea screen (dgun cloak com), and shields to protect the seed clone units

Air isn't unsalvageable, just drastic changes are in order for it to be useful as a lane fac.
