Firepluk
In big team games it gets really annoying when several players share the same color
We could add some blackish and whitey colors, ya know

There aren't enough distinct colors to support these big games.

Sounds like or most famous crustacean Firepluk wants to evolve into a mantis shrimp.

PR this: https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/Zero-K/blob/master/LuaUI/Configs/TeamColorConfig.lua

Ideally with an example of the changes.

You can test live like this: https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/index.php?title=Mod_Creation#Common_Changes

I've been playing around with making players have two colors rather than one.
[Spoiler]

Like Shaman said there isn't really enough distinct colors to have 32 players be easily distinguishable with one each.

I just wanted to make a separate thread, but I'm hijacking this one, because it fits.

Could you add an option for selecting colors? Always playing green or teal gets kinda boring, obviously keeping the current options in the settings shouldn't be a problem. Just give us a palette where we can select one with random as default or current filling up the colors with players?

There is a colour selection option type in the ingame menu, so such a thing wouldn't be hard for someone to add in the colour settings.

I really like the dual colors so far.
