Firepluk got me into playing ZK. He got me addicted to funny maps and trying troll tactics, some fail, some not.

Many of his game meta tactics resulted in game mechanics being changed - I salute that!

But the sad fact is that the admin staff has some really really terrible and ignorant people promoted to admins. It's an opensource project, so I get it.

I have my own opinions about the choices for the admins. I don't play anymore for those reasons. And it seems many players have also moved on.

I shall now quote from the Book of Lob:

The final troll is truly the greatest tribute that he is worthy of a small book on his profile showing the incompetence of administration of ZK.

This is a physics simulation where every player attracts whoever he upvoted and repels players that he downvoted.

To be exact, the following forces are being applied:
-Brownian motion with decaying magnitude
-A small force towards the center of the simulation area that increases exponentially with distance
-Constant attractive force towards players that were upvoted (proportional to amount of votes)
-Constant repellent force towards players that were downvoted (proportional to amount of votes)
-Repellent force towards other players, decays with distance^4
-Friction to stabilize the system

How you can read this image:
-Color represents friendliness: A player who has never downvoted anything will be fully green, while a player who only does downvotes will be red.
-Being near a player represents a "good relationship" regarding forum karma. Whether players are direct neighbours or a little distance from each other is not of any significance due to the noise of the Brownian motion deciding on such small differences.

I see many people saying the Admins made a disappointing/wrong choice, but I think the Admins did the right thing, it's not like they banned him, they gave him a fair warning, which, after all, is there job. I wasn't around a ton when he was, so I know very little of him, but I do feel like he was an interesting part of the community. Although, he can come back if he wants, no one is stopping him, and I think the admins made the right choice, and as GoogleFrog said it's not that hard to be nice, and if you can't do it then you don't have to say anything at all.

For me Firepluck is the defenition of chaotic Good. By exploiting every quirk ZK has to offer i think he shaped ZK like no other player (apart from devs). Despite him being annoying at times and to resign happy after his trollcom died I miss him because i think I learned a great deal from him.(by crying over his newest playstyle and seeking a counter to it)

Kingstad / Rafalpluk is there ia story behind multiple players having "pluk" in their name? Is there some connection to the whole cooked Lobster thing? If i remember correctly there once was a player with the name Rafalpluk as well

spaci I believe Firepluk's original name was 'sfireman'. He was friends with a player that a lot of people tell me was excellent, a guy called Svatopluk. Svatopluk stopped playing ZK and Firepluk got his account renamed after him iirc. But the other Pluks will no doubt tell it like it is.

Yeah Sfireman was "inspired" by Svatopluk nick to rename to Firepluk and then I renamed too to form a trio of cheese tactic users. All 3 were around when it happened.

I agree with you FxDrone, but mocking a german guy for not being able to write English very well - while being an englishman - kinda speaks for itself too. I would like to see you speak better German than Chesti speaks English.
