Can land constructors avoid trying to reclaim stuff they can't reach?

When you have a land non-climbing non-jumping and order it to reclaim everything in a given area, it tries to do just that but gets stuck when it attempts to go up a slope it's unable to. So can't it just ignore the reclaim it is unable to navigate to?

Hi
Yes it is a very good question. And in other case to as building too...

Ideally yes, but I think it would be an engine feature. And figuring out a good rule for it seems tricky.

Perhaps a new widget could be made by reusing some of the area reclaim splitting code in GBC? I think it already does some pathfinding checks.

"Is there a pathable route that will take the con into range of that mex" seems unambiguous and a huge improvement on the current situation.

Definitely engine though...

"Is there a pathable route that will take the con into range" is already an unreliable solution. Sometimes when I want to build a radar on a cliff, I just click to build it. Then I need to spend 5-7 seconds microing around pathfinding, giving move orders to the bottom of the cliff so the builder takes the shortest path to be within build range, instead of the con going on a 2-min journey around an up the hill.
