Agreed. The only battle I participated in got really crammed with units which resulted in a really low framerate.

well i guess i will remove some of the mex spots for the next version, tho im generally fine with it beeing a high metal map, its large map and not very porcy, there is room for all those units.

Well game breaking bug is that there is no stiletto statue in middle. And major bug is that super mex in middle :)

imo the super mex works out fine. i watched the replay from the last game, west team had the mex all the game, plus north and south for most of the time, but didnt have better income, having lost all the mexes in the flat desert area. only later when rafal started to make multiple singus we had an advantage. so its not a win guarantee to hold that mex.

Linking supermexes to grids gives perverse amounts of metal. Not sure if they did that...

its a 6 metal mex. there are tons of maps which have that. plus if you look at the metal map and what i wrote before, its quite balanced with the rest of the map. getting this mex and overdriving it hard is an option, not a must.

Played a game on this today. Feels a bit too large and there is wayyyy too much metal. Pathing on the upper road also starts failing when you terraform or build structures.

The heightmap looks a lot like a minotaur/bull face...

Very nice. We could use more large maps like this, although I would agree with some others that there's a bit too much metal.

Also, some of the sand hills (around the border of the rough texture in the south, close to the metallic ground) have very steep slopes, but look very flat and gentle unless you use the contour view. People can easily get stuck by starting there by mistake. The simplest solution would be to make the slopes more gentle or lower those hills a little in the heightmap.

Make the top road a bit wider, please. When you get paths that small pathing really breaks down. Units start refusing to even follow the road, and instead prefer to go into the bowl.
