"under attack" sound warning?

Hi Zero-K fans and developers,

I recently noticed the lack of a sound indicator when your units/buildings are under attack. Something like this exists in other games like, for example, StarCraft 2.
In Zero-K there is a text notification, but a clear sound warning would be really practical. Is there an option or a widget that I overlooked that activates such a notification? And if not, would it be possible for someone to make a widget doing this?
Thanks for the help.

So you mean when the commander is under attack? It helps, but I'd need one which includes all units and buildings.

There could be some general voice warnings and some unit special.

Things like "Our forces are under attack" and "our Warriors have engaged the enemy".

funny thing is, i already have constructed (some) robotic speech unit responses. project is unfinished though. also draft only. (my german accent is really not that great although i thought of myself not to be that non-english lol, maybe i would require for input a native speaker)

goal was to get a sound like the reaper in mass effect for the voice, which would be awesome ...

so much projects , so little time.

There is in game widget which is off by default. It's called notifier or sth like that. It does just that.

OK, I just found a widget called "Voices" by quantum which adds Unit replies and notifications, including a voice warning telling something like "our units are under attack". Unfortunately, all units give unnecessary comments when selected or getting commands. These voices volume cannot be adjusted ("command/selection sound" changes in the menu only change the default sound).
Is there a way to tweak this or add a menu section which allows to mute/adjust specific sounds of this widget?

I remember that there used to be a widget that also says "your commander is under attack". Perhaps once I will have enough time, mana and will be aggrivated by my own excess and stalling enough, I will create voice equivalent of RUrankAdminikinz 's energy stall widget.

I would like a sound warning in these situations:
· Strider completed
· Nuke ready
· Factory queue finished (Now its idle)
· Energy shortage
· Storage at 75% and metal excessing

My personal preference would be a female voice like the one of the "Pause", but anything will do.

The Voices widget is not supported and should possibly be removed. I think the voices come from some other open source game. An attacking warning sound could be added to the default widget but someone would have to think up a good system and implement it. It is not unusual to constantly receive damage and this has to be accounted for.

Voices are from Warzone open source game. I also like their warnings and even chatty units and stuff.

Are you talking about the "Command Console Activated" voices being from Warzone 2100, or are these different voice clips? Also, if we were going to use voices, is the idea to use speech synthesis or real voices?

These are real voices, and command console activated is one of them.
But there is also "voices" widget that makes all units chatty.

I can do some synthesized robotic-sounding voice announcements if you wish. Just tell me the desired wordings and I'll synthesize those for you. No success guarantee of any kind, though.
