Frankly, I feel that nanoframes at low health should basically be transparent to shots, neither being targetable nor blocking shots. Maybe until it has at least 100 health.

That would make an interesting case of non-destroyable storage. Just make a widget that makes constructors build wireframes and stop at 99 health, and reclaim when needed.

Baiting shots with nano's is just about as shit as commander drones or hmm, Halberds. After we're done nerfing that, let's talk about lance spam shall we.

It's worse.

- A much wider variety of units can deploy it.

- Every unit that can deploy it can deploy it on a more massive scale than either drones or Halberds can be deployed, both in absolute terms and per metal.

- Shooting at the drone is somewhat okay. The drone is trying to harm you. It has a weapon.

- Shooting at the halberd is somewhat okay. The halberd is armed and directly controlled by an entity that wants to harm you.

- The nanoframe is harmless until completed. If it is not being actively built, it's not gonna get completed. It doesn't even provide sight or decloak.

I'd imagine the only person benefitting from the lance-blasting of a 1% lotus nanoframe is the sufferer of severe OCD. No more illegitimate radar dot to plague the mindscape.

I can't believe it's taken us this long to bring it back up again really. Combat terraform was banhammered so hard that you'd think combat nano be treated as equally cancerous. Well, why not?

This need not be a sweeping AI change though - you do want your raiders and riots and <= stinger porc to blast would-be-picket nanos. So you somehow have to cleverly apply it to skirmishers/artillery with an option to override...

We have "do not shoot at radar dots", well how about "do not shoot at nanoframes unless explicitly told to"?

This falls under the general anti-bait state. PRs welcome. Maybe it should be multiple states in the background, for things like armoured targets, cost threshold and nanoframes, with one state that ties the three simple states together for use on the simple UI.
