the fact that I won in this game is a miracle, I literally survived after the destruction of my base, after I received a nuclear strike on the base, I managed to build up all my power back and destroy the enemy. Usually when I play ffa, I am in control, that is, I understand what is happening and where, but in this game, the decisions that I made were random, so not typical for me

One of the things that amazes me is the attitude towards the high player in ffa, people consider him the highest priority target for destruction, but in fact this is a complete delusion.

An approximate list of priority who should win the game:

1. You
2. High player
3. Others are relatively elo

If you think that by getting together you will kill the strongest player, then you remain in competition with other players and, having lost, you will lose a lot of Elo, the worst option for you if the player who has less Elo wins. If the high player wins, you will lose almost a couple of Elo points

So if you cannot win anymore anyway, you should team up with the next best player. If people follow this strategy, having a high win chance becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. On the other hand, if people focus on killing the best player, high win chances become self-negating. I wonder how the overall probability change turns out to be in the ideal strategy to maximize whr.

All of this assumes that the objective of a given FFA player is to maximise their rating gain. I expect most FFA players are more motivated by trying to win the game at hand, and some would even welcome losing some rating.

If I have no chance of winning, I usually help the one who is higher in the rating win. So I lose less elo

hm, although this is true in theory.

If you are teaming up with a weaker player, and u manage to make them fight a lot, while u just help out a little bit, the game might even gets back to the point where u have a realisic chance of winning.
And we all know these are the sweetest victories.

(I shouldn't be posting this, knowing that i am often getting teamed on)
