Really don't like this map. Asymmetrical and too easy to control mid and the game. Also you pretty much have to go spiders because of terrain as well.

Really. Well perhaps I haven't played enough games on it. I am biased against grossly asymmetrical maps as well.

One of the best maps for ZK. My favorite 1v1 map. One of the only maps that can remain balanced while being completely asymmetrical too. If it could get a higher resolution texture it would be even better.

I think top has a small advantage. The first mexes after the initial 3 are easier to defend.

Also, when walking straight to the center (with you commander for example) there are easy to grab mexes. The south player will need to take a bit of a detour to get his.

geyser is assemetrical, and at least 50x more awesome

This map seems to have obnoxiously high speccmap or something. Units are almost pure white.

Map specularity by itself does not affect unit rendering. First thing is to check whether this happens to other people on the same engine and to same people on different engines, zk versions, and other games.

The terrain used to be super bright as well so I added a widget to fix it. The config is gameside. Presumably some of the settings need changing.

Maps have a unit specular color setting which can be different from other light colors. It's stupid because if you use it then you get derpy, unrealistic lighting or issues like this, but it is a thing.

Whatever's default on ZK right now. I don't stray far engine-wise. This was done using zk:stable.
