Good map, roads add a nice touch to texture. Not as imbalanced as may initially appear. No water for some reason? River and ponds should have some water in them.

water seems to be a setting issue w/ autohosts. Does the Features work on it?

No features visable, didn't know the map was supposed to have them, interesting.

ah. yea, the map was me and forbs first attempt to use featureplacer, and thus is supposed to have bunches of trees, plus groups of houses(yes we went a little overboard ^^;) My guess is either ZK is still not compatable with FP, or the version of FP its built on doesn't work with the current.

Yes, I found the feature list that it should be using. No actual feature files though. Is this map supposed to have Springfeatures as a dependency like some of the other EvoRTS maps? That would probably make the features show up but would also break compatibility for people who use lobbies that don't grab dependencies.

Looking at the information on SpringRTS, yea, its a depedency file for Spring Featrues/Featureplacer(as the map originally was sort of a first run of the map. Kinda sucks in the end I guess, but at least the map preforms well for small battles.

The simplest fix would be to just look at the feature list to see which ones are used, copy and paste the model and lua files out of Springfeatures and include them with a new release of the map. I use featureplacer for my maps and that's how I do it, allows the features to show up properly in any mod.

How easy is it to do that if I may ask?

About as easily as finding the lua feature list in the archive (I think EvoRTS-Riverdale-v06.sd7\config\featurelists\seta.lua is the correct one) and copy pasting the feature files into correct folders. You can open up either one of my maps in 7zip to see what I mean by that last part:

I didn't use as many different types of features as this map, but the process will be the same really.

Alrighty Cool. I'll see if Forb's fine with me doing the adjustment and see what I can do.

May also toy around with FP agian at some point ^^.

The issue with copying features into maps is that you would make many maps much larger. The issue that needs fixing is that rapid has some problem with fetching map dependencies.

Map looks unfair terrain wise. I think bottom team has a non negligible advantage.
