'WATER DEALS DAMAGE' in the info is the worst way to do this, sorry. If you want info that the water is acid, make it green and yellow and goopy looking.

Is lava the same as acid (besides color)? As a fan of strange color combinations agreen isle in red lava would look good

Usually, if a map has lava, the "lava" does a huge amount of DPS that tends to instakill. Acid tends to be much slower.

Didn't Violence feature a widget that made the lava sizzle and have little random explosions? Something like that could be used to highlight the painful acid.

1) was gadget. would require release.
2) lava is cool, but would be aesthetically unfit for this map.
3) actually, it should be pretty easy to make the Violence lava be new lava for zk lavarise, if somebody found the bother.

Is it just me or are blue decloak circles on units only hardly visible on this map? I didn't even notice them the first time. Happened in 91.0, so no new engine stuff either.
