In 10v10 there is just about enough metal to play properly. With less it would be like 10v10 usually is where losing your com puts you at 5m/s for the rest of the game.

Halved metal is often a poor way of changing maps. We end up with all these 0.8 metal mexes which are barely worth building. Seem Koom Gorge. If you want to reduce the metal I think you have to redo the metal spots.

Not worth building mexes? The value only need to be significantly higher than caretakers for mexes to be useful. 0.8 is definitely significantly higher than caretakers.
It does change the efficiency of overdrive though so ecoing is basically nerfed.

Ok it is worthwhile economically to build them. But take into account rushing with several people to a team and mexes can be less worthwhile, especially once you have a few.

I'm not sure I catch your drift. Are you saying that rushing will become more prevalent because mexes take more time to pay off?

This map is BETA. The metal amounts are 2.5 per mex because of a mistake on my part. The final metal value will be 1.9 per mex. Any other requests?
