I've upped the metal on each mex to 2.0. I might adjust it further so you get the 3-clustered start spots you generally expect.

It's annoy how the game is often decided by who wins sea, and sometimes decided by a breakthrough on the top. To fix these issues, how about this map:

I see sapphire shores wet and escarpment for N v S. Like TheRockJungle for E v W. It's a simple colors map though.
