I invented the comswitch!

I like your way of trolling as in playing smart. That com/newton bait was clever.

epic xD
but it's nothing new, it was invented and used much time ago :P
But earlier you could boost your transport and do it much faster. After we stopped playing with boost people stopped using this tactic.

It would be nice if the definition of trolling around here matched that of the rest of the world. For some reason 'trolling' now means doing anything interesting.

It has got quite bad. It seems to have gotten even worse since what is known as the troll community started playing more. Now even digging a reaper into a hole qualifies for trolling.

"Real" malicious trolls are quiet rare within ZK actually.

Most people have a picture in their head of how ZK should be played, if you don't play according to that style you are "trolling" here ;-)

Now, question is, is exploiting side-effects of the engine mechanics that are obviously unintended in ZK's game play trolling? Or is just everything allowed.

Double newtons is standard tactic in icy run map(perfect against licho)...nothing special invented.

How do you know if something is obviously unintended?

Unintended ones were fleas being unkillable inside colvols of mexes, and other units in colvols of some factories. Those are bugs and they get fixed.

Newtons as antiair is pretty intentional i think (or considerent "benevolent" side effect), otherwise it would have been abolished.

this.

Unintended side effects include things like:
-Fleas inside collision volume
-Flying aircrafts off the map to avoid AA
-Using manual fire on puppies to make them jump
-Using nanoframes (often with the repeat function) to catch incoming projectiles

etc

When i first saw terraform used to lock tanks i thought that was bad as well. But i got used to that now and realize that was part of it's design. (I still don't like it though)

that costs hitpoints for the puppies, you can only do so many jumps.

of course, but the question is. Was puppy intended to do that when it's weapon was designed?

Oh, another one, are shadows supposed to be able to bomb other aircrafts?!!!

This baffles me.

I think that's quite intentional as per "everything that can physically hit another, should be able to at least try" paradigm, violations of which (antiair and underwater) i despise and try to abolish.

on the other hand, it makes planes even stronger against gunshits as bombers can down blackdawns pretty easily

The first one is the only gamebreaking thing here. I have not seen any effective use of the next two things. Feel free to use the last three items on this list because if they were really broken they would be fixed. We're not going to go around enforcing rules about these mechanics because they are slippery to define and are too minor to be worth the effort. So from your point of view they are intentional.

Bombers hitting aircraft is definitely intentional, you're disadvantaging yourself if you don't use it. The paradigm Anarchid cites has some effect but also do you want to manually aim your bombers at the ground to hit a Krow? This could be done manually and probably rather well so the AI may as well do it for you.

You didnt saw them effective googlefrog....do you remember that impulse capacitor that made my athena go in space and remain there, and thus i was building units and things without anny chances of som1 to kill it.Dont worry il find other bugs similar to this :D.

When I say something isn't effective (or even isn't broken) I'm not talking about previous versions which had a different version of whatever I'm talking about. Sure, broken things have been too effective but in those cases the broken thing has been fixed.
