Just watched the replay.
It's weird they never destroyed my cerb. It commanded all the map center, particularly with the emissaries to help.

Ruru spams phoenix against a team that builds no aa at all first, then continues to lose them to artemis later -> ruru is a good air-player...

Ye then watch something else then yourself. People were busy with your allies and if I had more metal, I would have dealt with you.
You could have also simply attacked the whole time because there were no defenses right in front of you. We were down our best player, and all our south was handled by a single brown dwarf, BErankmrMute, who played great. Blankmind carried your team really hard.

Actually, you could apply your own advice. I didn't see the same game.

- You HAD more metal than us.
- Fire bombers saved our collective ass multiple times with great precision. That's air ruling enough for me.
- mrMute was great (I also though that), but he wasn't alone (you don't like bombers, eh ?).
- We were attacked multiple times in the middle where I was, and still keep it ours. You didn't fare so well on your side, Katastrophe...
- I'm pretty sure my arty did some number on everything middle.
- I also attacked, but YOU had also a not so bad air guy. Yes I could have done better/more, but as everybody. You, for instance, lost.
- Two air players on our side, if memory serve, mean one ground less, on a 6v6...
- In the game, we don't know and see, or focuse, on the same things we do in the replay. That's also why we watch replay, to say "I probably could have tried..."
- If I look at the final damage chart, I've not the impression I didn't know what I did.

You are bitter. You will win another day.

Me? As a single player?

Well, I guess you played against a purple while being shelled then.

And I got bombed, burned, pierced, crashed, ran over, laserified, strafed, mini-nuked...
But do you see me be got angry ?

I just continued to shell... Oh, it was you ?

Nota : And this night, I lost 4 games on 5. I'm not bitter. My teammates where good or not so. I was good or worst than them.
And tomorrow you will all pay.
Nothing more.

Blankmind was great. mrMute was great. Our bombers were great.
You had two blues and three white against our one violet and two whites.
You lose one mate after 12 minutes, we lost one after 27 minutes. On a game of 50 minutes.
Next time, you will win. Or me.
And I'll still say that a mate that save our asses where I play and were able to understand it he did well, because it's the case here.
It's not to an opponent to say I can't. You lose, and BlankMind as great has e is (and he is) didn't win alone.
Or that would mean you lose at 5 or 6 to 1, as you wish.

My understanding of the discussion is: DErankkatastrophe position is: "keeping center (rather than advancing) contributed to game being longer". FRrankBananaLemur position is "I did good holding center".

I see both as correct, but generally, loosing is worse than holding and holding is worse than just advancing (when possible). When I watch my replays I am generally "damn, I could have advanced there or do that". Of course some people don't care that much about winning/improving so it's a valid position to say "I just like to hold", but most of the times that does not win the game.

Idk, you said

First, I have watched you and I know you are a good player. So this is nothing
against you as a person or player. What I was trying to say is: Even if you
definitely and without any question were a problem for us, the purple player with tanks and striders that raids our back and especially THAT EATS ALL the reclaim is a comparatively higher thread and thus gets higher priority. BErankmrMute on the other hand had enough to deal with themself. Next up, I tried to silo your cerb which turned out to be a total waste of money. I would have needed scouting first, then build the appropriate missiles and fire them more or less together. In that time, I cannot produce units, so we potentially lose front even more. As if that wasnt enough, had I succeeded in killing the cerb, without us actually taking control of the territory you would just rebuild it.
This is the straight answer on why we never destroyed your cerb. Because we simply needed all our ressources and attention somewhere else.

quote:
You are bitter. You will win another day.

I kind of wonder how that would change anything I said. Even if we had won, the answer why we never destroyed the cerb would be the same: "Because in this time and place, you were noones top priority." Everone that plays for a while knows how Blankmind works and what he is going to do. Big attrition-unit -> reclaim -> bigger attrition-unit -> repeat. A porker in mid is simply less important IN
COMPARISON with that. And again, I know that you totally have the potential to be my top priority in other scenarios, k?
Lastly, I do not even claim to be a good pot-player. I would say I am playing pretty mediocre at the moment. There was a brief time when I was decent in 1v1, but thats long ago. And when the sum of your played and watched zero-k games is pretty much equal to 27.000, you start to seriously question the decisions you made in life. I can guarantee you that the bitterness is not about losing, it is
the complete futility of losing or winning. The pot never ends... It is merely temporally interrupted by an ending- and a startscreen, as soon as the mayhem ends, the game restarts. Does the result of the last game even count anymore?
Does your life get better with every win in zero-k? Do you get better teammates as a compensation for losing a game? Does it ever get better? I dream of a zero-k that does not contain the phrases "you don't need storage" and "of ffs make units fml" as quasi memes in its culture, yet I know that this vison will stay just this, a vision, before the grim and bleak face that is fucking eternity. Sometimes you wonder if you maybe spend to much time thinking about some obscure rts, if it could maybe have some affect on your mental health. A fool who would believe just that. This is what they want you to think. These sheeps! They run around, enyoing their lives not knowing how hollow and empty it really is. For they not know about the one, the most secret of the one truths:

quote:
ZERO-K IS IMPORTANT. AND SO ARE DISCUSSIONS ON IT`S FORUM!

A truth only known to the most dedicated, the few that are willing to strife, to endure, to sacrifice, all to be a worthy tool to the one purpose so divine, to exist as zero-k. Not FOR zero-k, AS zero-k. For only then, after they have rejected all, sundered the threads of earthy attachment, they can see it. For it is him who stalks the battlefield, for it is him who bathes and delights in the maddening chaos of the clusterfuck, for it is him who does not care for the outcome, for it is only him who will win. And those who truly thirsted the blessings, the grace, the sacred gifts of zero-k, they heard the void, whispering a name:

Homarus Pinchy, the god of sucking at everything.

And they stared in its eyes, cold and empty. And as they had now seen it, they suddenly understood the horror of Pinchy. And many of them were driven mad, depleted of their sanity by him, the god of sucking at everything. And until this day, the souls of those lost to pinchy haunt the playing with smurf-accounts until they get banned.
But even those who resisted, they can still hear it, whispering into their ear without mercy, without pause. Whispering the eternal, the painful truth. That nothing matters, winning, losing, playing great, playing bad, matters. For it is only Pinchy who wins. And so some of those who resisted the abyss of madness, fell into the abyss of bitterness instread. And their dead souls can be seen at night, fighting for nothing but fighting itself, as they have succumbed to the knowlede: HOMARUM SOLUS PRINCEPS AETERNUM.

What obscure rts are you thinking about? Zero-K is THE one and only RTS. The only confused ones are all the others playing other games than zero-k.

Does your life get better with every win in zero-k? Do you get better teammates as a compensation for losing a game?
Life is mostly meh with the occasional (rare) wins. In zero-k and outside zero-k. But the thrill of finding once in a while one good team, of having the exceptional team mate that help you or with which you can coordinate, or a hard strategy, can give you some hope that life is cool and interesting! But to appreciate that, after each win, you do get lower ranked team mates.

Other rts are flat out deep-state propaganda. How they went through all the efford to believably fake the existence of Starcraft II. The fake was so good, I remember playing it myself. I am so glad I finally saw through this.
