They probably will never be the same kind of success as seen in the original bullshit drops though. I regret ever having done those drops now since this monstrosity has surfaced in the meta. The effects it has on the newbie population of teams is quite dreadful. Now I see newbies spamming scallops against skirmisher spam, attempted bullshit drops with too many scallops and too slow, or going against enemy air. The effects on other people though also means now bsdrops are harder to pull off, which leads to actual effort. :/

At least drops are making its way into the meta. Perhaps its time to introduce blastshit shotgun into the meta...

Drops are an intentional part of ZK's design.

Countering drops is part of the air player's duty. Valkyries go down fast when attacked by swifts, but the air player needs to have radar(s) up to see them coming.

Without an air player, Faraday can still one-shot any drops.

Drops are meant for tactical redeployment as well, whether it be carrying scallops around to hunt down survivors, or relocating a shieldball, or saving slashers and wolverines from certain death!
