Zk website loads really slowly in china

Edit: i mean website lol

and when i say slowly, I mean 2-4 minutes per page.(maybe even more)
Issue seems to be that it tries to connect to twitter,google,etc.
and it waits until connection times out (or something)
This renders using the website practically unusable unless you use a VPN(really annoying when you're trying to play and access the site at the same time)

a solution might be to tell the website not to load the blocked websites if the player's ip is in china
or make like a chinese version of the site (cn.zero-k.info)

I think it is better to leave the politics out of it (whom is having a problem).

dotT: maybe use a tracker blocker like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/donottrackplus/ ? Page looks better anyhow with it "on" (hides ads and social media stuff)

But to get more Chinese players some other technical solutions should be found ...

using the addon malric suggested does remove the google connections, so it speeds the loading time a bit, but it doesnt seem to block twitter or facebook

Not sure if it's available for anything else than firefox. It's like an adblock but even more encompassing (including things like Google Analytics, social media buttons (which will also track you just by being there) and other stuff that you don't even know about). The only benefit they draw from you using it is the data about what you would've seen, IF you opt into that.

I can't remember the last time I was annoyed by any third-party content on a site since I installed it. Well, see for yourself.

@Rafal[ZK], I used my hyp3r-1337 computer skillz0rz and totally modified the "de" in the url posted to "en" by completely rewriting the two letters from scratch using my super advanced illegal h4xxor keyboard and look what I got!

Oh lord, when I was in China, it took me 5 minutes to load any page of zero k.

I also found out that China blocks google.com, but not images.google.com?

China would approve of private caretaker farms for its higher elo citizens.
