Make a customizable com-like strider?

Go for it! Secondary commanders have been buildable in the Strider Hub since the new dynamic commander morph system was added. They have no income generation, so it's perfect for what you want.

I already see a skittle blowing up a ball of useless morphed shitcoms :D

I remember making a sniper com that had a vet of 7.28. Killed 2 trollcoms, almost killed a bantha (had 1-2 shots left before it ran off) and a lot of random fodder. I also remember making an army of sniper coms only to get killed by 3 roaches.

Sadly, those days are behind us I think.

Seriously though, 2 adv radar + sniper com is pretty boss. You can fire into fog with good accuracy and it assists allies as well. Penetrators, pillagers and impalers are pretty scary when they get that kind of blind accuracy.
