Lobby Update linux issues

malric 8 years ago After latest update I can not do anything with ZKL. System: Arch Linux 64 bit running with mono. Problems: - does not connect to server (maybe related to the error in the log "Zero-K.exe Error: 0 : Unhandled async exception: System.DllNotFoundException: unitsync") - when moving window from one screen to another lobby freezes completely (100% cpu usage, no redraw) - dual screen (laptop + monitor), lobby always starts on laptop screen (small) and does not resize. Previously it was remembering the monitor on which it started and was nicely resizing. Does anybody knows any lobby that works now in Linux? +0 / -0
Lynx 8 years ago I have exactly same issue (also ArchLinux). I tried moving Zero-K-Lobby.exe to another folder, and that gave password prompt and not fixed, just broken in a different way. +0 / -0
malric 8 years ago weblobby works great. Need to select some options (use zk server and show zk games) but besides that had no problems and I like better the layout and design! +3 / -0
Chesti 8 years ago When you do not care about looking so much you could use flobby as well: https://github.com/cleanrock/flobby it is available for aur as well. I could provide .deb if anyone is interested +0 / -0

Vermind 8 years ago I can get weblobby in 2 weeks when I get out of China. Before then, I cannot download stuff off of anything that starts with a g... +0 / -0
malric 8 years ago Chesti: good to know flobby also works. I think a list of alternative lobbies (and versions, in case of protocol changes) would help people knowing these things (I concluded weblobby is working due to some comments on an unrelated threads which said "you need to select 2 enable 2 checkboxes and then ZK works). +0 / -0

Vermind 8 years ago (edited 8 years ago) Sorry Chesti, I meant the google drive where they are hosting weblobby... Github works fine, just Google, Facebook, pastebin, imgur etc don't. This year also Dropbox stopped working, which is really annoying. +0 / -0

ratmix 8 years ago weblobby works flawlessly for me on Ubuntu 14.04. Don't forget for check Zero-K in the settings. +1 / -0
Vermind 8 years ago It seems that the ZK lobby is unable to download things for me, so I cannot join games. If I use Weblobby to download maps / games first, then I can use ZK Lobby to join. This is on Linux Mint Debian Edition 2. +0 / -0
