Anyone knows an RTS where the guard order isn't something frustrating you do by right clicking another unit on accident?
Sorta like current circle guard but where the guarding unit stays close without getting in the way and orienting itself toward the nearest enemy unit?

That isn't a guard issue. That is a movestate or a firestate issue.

Configure those units to hold position instead of maneuver or roam and see if they behave better.
