Happens surprisingly rarely from what I've seen.

don´t get me started about zk-players and logic...

It's very logical, actually. In a case of a strong evil purpler against an FFA of weaker players, each of the weaker players is interested in everyone else killing the purpler (and spending their strenght on it) while investing as little as possible themselves, as long as the total expenditure of strentgh is enough to bury the strongest player.

But the strong player knows this, so they will hide their strentgh to cause the weaker ones to misjudge how much power is needed to kill and finish them, and when it's worth it to invest more power into making it happen. This in turn means that

- Often the alliance of the free lobsters will not commit enough strength to eliminate the dark purple king of evil, because they misjudged how strong the evil purpler actually is.

- Often the alliance of the free lobsters will use enough strength to eliminate the evil purpler, but then fail to finish the job because in his diminished state, the dark king of purple evil doesn't seem like the stronger player on the map anymore - it's one of the other lobsters now! - so the alliance will crumble when the purpler is only diminished, but not killed.

Maybe my standards are a bit different, but to me that just seems like a more eloquent way of saying 'zk players and logic...' ;d

Oh, so it is best for the weaker players to display that they are fully committed to going after the purple EErankAdminAnarchid?

Ideally they should be just committed a bit more than now. There are two problems with that though:
- It is hard to judge a player's skill-adjusted power in a fog of war
- Everyone has an incentive to commit less than their neighbor to backstab them later - so everyone and their neighbor commit less.

I just never stop attacking NOrankAdminKingstad until I actually see the "@Kingstad has resigned" message :D
