Small Teams + Mics Event Feeler

With a fair amount of activity going on in fightorder voice chats, there has been times where we get games and people will pile into two separate vc for coms. While sometimes there isn't much talking in vc, other times there has been games with good coms and those are some of the best teams games played. sadly however its very rare to make that happen for a combination of reasons.

With that being said, I was wanting to see if a more formal hosted event would bring more people and we could get at least 2 or 3 games of 4v4(16-24 people) going at the same time. for balance and to try to make games fair, I was thinking about letting high elo blues and purples that signed/showed up be captains and manually select team in-between games. Hopefully this will create more fair games for everyone and not let people be held hostage to nightwatch(meth smoker) balance.

Since this is a feeler post and nothing is really concerte. I'm open to suggestions about format, if people would rather do 2v2,3v3,5v5 Than that would work for me. the idea about this is to get more engaging team games that create insane moments, not so much a 4v4 event. As for other things like map pool and elo on/off. I would like to put together a smallish map pool 6-8 maps that give well to team play. So if anyone has any suggestions for maps that would be nice too. I know that for events people might perfer no elo, However I feel like leaveing elo on would push people to try to play more like a team (or play like absolute degenerates).

my biggest concerns and what lead me to posting this feeler thread first is that with the player base being small and split up around the world, Finding a good time for everyone will be tricky. If mainly na players show interest than I will focus to find a good time around na. like wise for eu, that would be tricky for me personally, but I'll work around that.

I'd be interested if scheduling allows. You could try using framadate or when2meet or similar to find out when people are available.
