cant think of a better title: log in, only game is B113432 17 on Mini_DeltaSiegeDry_v04 (8v9 dsd mini) I want to play a "real" (small) game, so after it ends me and some others to go play B113434 9 on Flooded Valley v2It kind of instantly starts before teams or maps can be set, so it is 4v5. (It is still fair because one ally builds nothing but a chainsaw, popups and a jammer in some corner of the map) After that, this game: B113440 12 on FolsomDamFinal , 6v6, not really small but ok. And now the host is at DSD again, where the other room started, with 7v8. It is IMPOSSIBLE to play anything other than lolgames.

Well, you must gather people who do like small games, decide on which hour small game will happen or so. Majority simply dont like small games, but if there is minority which do like small games this is not problem since you dont need much people for that anyway. For me small game is like "working", exam time, solving unbelievably hard math quiz or similar, and people at evenings after jobs are not looking for that.

they majority LOVES small games. they love to come into my small games and make them large.

You can just use !lock if your "majority" agrees to that and start playing.

At evenings after jobs i wish for nothing more than a good (intense) fuck and to screw somebody (intensely) over in 1x1. But 2x2 is fine, too. I've never seen !lock or !manage used to any effect, though. What do they even do!

can't you set the max player count in a room?

I think, that's what !manage or !lock is supposed to do. There is also an lobby-protocol based limit, but i think you can't impose that one on Springie hosts.

Again, my dream room: Small Games (not small teams). 6 player limit. If you get 7 players, it splits into a server with 3 players and a server with 2 players. Automatically switches between team-games and FFA as player-counts change, jumping from 3FFA to 2v2 to 5FFA to 3v3.

my dream, non-1v1 host: small teams (up to 6 players total) when #7 joins he gets auto-specced. When someone leaves the first to unspec gets the spot. ...just like we always used to do before springie autohsts

Sometimes I dislike playing in newbie rooms, but mostly not. Teaching basics like "dont cluster fusions", "at least connect energy to mexes" and so on and so on is sometimes annoying, but well... Maybe if there would be 8x8 pro battle which I probably never had played I would like it too.

8v8 pro battle is not possible ATM (you'll never find enough of these players online at the same time) We need more (decent) players xDD

Well 1700+ on Sunday or Saturday I think is reasonable. And 1600+ is totally possible. Also WTF with those spr*ng's. Those nicks getting old I know it might be fun have them for one or two days. Now I treat all spr*ng players same.

The twist: if they were really pros, they wouldn't be playing 8v8 anyway. They don't need that soft cushy team buffer and can manage a front line larger than an hlt range.
