just logicaly speaking, you need to clarify WHY you banned someone, either before you banned them, or afterwords. "trolling" isn't really an accurate description of anything

nah i just had some free time, and find the mod behaviour random and offencive in this case

its really not a valid reason for a ban

also its not my fault klon, and fish finger decided to resign 5 minutes into the game... that is what really made the game unbalanced, being down 4 players isnt something that can be fixed(klon had 2comms+take )

You know.. yesterday I had a vision. Some time after I read the report someon on german TV said (loosely translated) "dab.. don't" or "dab.. no". It just happened while zapping, so I lack exact context, but I instantly knew you did something bad.

That's proof enough that SM is not abusing moderation power.

In an attempt to clarify things: From what I understand B152904 14 on Talus-wet-v3 is the cause for your penalty, NOT B152907 15 on FolsomDamFinal.

I immensely engjoy every game I play with ddab. I'm always eager to see what new tactic he's trying out this week.

Land-ships? That's pretty awesome.

Even if I got pwned by that, I would still have fun with it. If my team (with ddab on it) lost because of that, I would have thought it was hilarious and I would have learned how to perform and counter a new tactic.

I, for one, think ddab is a great member of this community, not a hindrance to it.

Besides, if you're going to start banning people for "trolling", you're going to have to come up with a concrete definition and apply bans across the board, to EVERYONE that fits that definition. And, you'll have to GIVE WARNING before you apply a new ban standard. Otherwise, the community will recognize the injustice and you'll make victims out of the people you want to destroy. Depending on how overboard you go, you could lose the entire community.

Anyway, I ask that ddab be unbanned.

agent you dont understand what happened there. land ships arent a "tactic" or a "strategy", its just plain trolling. he made crusaders in the back puddle and then newtoned them all the way to the middle river, while this is certainly creative and would, under other circumstances, be funny, its not a strategy.

and no, i dont think that you need to come up with a definition what qualifies as trolling. but if you really wanted one, then newtoning ships across land, when they cheaper and better solution would be to just build the shipyard in the river, most definitly qualifies.

what about "dont be a dick"? thats very clear. on the other hand, rules can only do so much and i trust that you are very ingenious in finding the gaps and turning the rules against their original purpose, doing stuff that is 100% trolling but still within the contraints of a set of rules.

it is very clear that you are a troll already, and i for one are not scared that you can be even more annoying.

fact is, this isnt a very big game, everyone knows everyone thus there is no need for objective createria which are meant to work in an environment where a admin couldnt judge whether a particular customer is a troll or something else.
