I know that many guys really enjoy coms in this game. It's intresting and give game something unique. Suggest increase number of com's levels to 10 So on lvl 10 commanders will be comparable to a detri with power/cost. What do you think?

Wolas, why 100k ? If it is compalrable to detri it should costs same about like it. But com won't get as much firepower as detri has. Even at lvl 100. Not possible.

Why? Cost can be a bit greater than the cost of detri, say ~30k metal, cause you will be able to use it while u are morphing it. This will give so many possibilities for the custom commanders, just imagine: fast, with huge HP, with huge range :D

Yep, this will also require tuning current limitations on some modules. For example I dont think it will be balanced to have a dgun com with 20 speed modules :D

There is already com setups which are hard to counter, if there would be added few more levels, you could setup uber uber commanders, like super high alpha long range sniper 6K a shot, or fast and high HP dgun com which wouldnt die to skuttle wouldnt be empable by spy and so on, nabs already fail at countering coms and then it would be just omg.

Theres already too many people morphing coms and wasting metal, more incentive would end up in one guy beating the whole enemy team one skuttle at a time. Main reason coms arent as combat effective vs metal is they have a nanolathe. A 5k com will generally lose to a dante (or a skuttle) I really do like coms as part of your forces, I find the com being your sole force ridiculous.

Under current implementation, more com levels would require the game to send and read more data, and there is (or at least recently used to be) a limit of how much you can send - doubling max level would probably mean halving the number of com setups. The alternative implementation (from zkdota) is wonky and would need more work to get into ZK proper.

If this isn't difficult to implement I support the idea - no amount of levels is a problem if the com remains suitably overpriced. As for conceiving high level modules, I would have thought that should be easy. New movement methods such as hover/fly/teleport, new weapon mod modules like knockback, vampirism, escalating damage, new utility modules like the ability to eat nearby wrecks puppy-style to heal, build units directly like the anthena, have a massive energy generator, to self destruct like a nuke etc. Because these kind of modules are not really going to be used in a serious competetive game they can be ludicrously overpriced.

It would be nice as event but it would cause broken balance. Also, what i would rather have is: 1) Unlock com morph only when the previos level paid up 2) Make morph dialog in-game which let you choose which parts do you want, it would let morph be much more tactical
