Battlecruise 11 years ago I tried to play zerok earlier today but right before i started my launchr and my friend's launcher started saying that we were disconnected. Are the servers down? +0 / -0

[V]sheep 11 years ago Server migration is an unlikely cause (for many reasons). My bet is on a linux VM crash (it happened before), and lack of planning/redundancy on the human side, which makes restarting the VM problematic... +0 / -0

[AG]abma 11 years ago i can just guess: as site and lobby isn't reachable its very likely the VMware host crashed as it was last week. no, it wasn't a Linux vm crash last time, the VMware host crashed last time. +0 / -0

[AG]abma 11 years ago (edited 11 years ago) vmware host didn't directly crash, the vm itself seems to be crashed in a weird state: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_KB_1_1&externalId=1014165 not sure why this happened, seems the ovh provided esxi images are unstable :-\| vm state was powered on, "esxcli vm process kill --type=hard --world-id=id" fixed it... +0 / -0
