I was searching the YouTube to find some decent Zero-K games played to watch what good players do to learn how to play. I found nothing.

So I ask you, people with superfast GPUs and 8-core processors, please get yourself a microphone, and record some commentary over a well played PvP or PvChicken game and uplaod it to YouTube, please :)

There's a nice screencasting program fro Linux you might never tried before: https://github.com/MaartenBaert/ssr

Yes, most of the commentated matches aren't really suited for new players. I'm thinking about brining out a PDF guide with video inserts, so if some players could put up some videos, that'd be great.

Are you specifically looking for videos played from the perspective of the skilled player, or just videos analyzing the thought processes used?

If it is the latter, then search my channel for any video labeled "Match Analysis", and it should help, at least for 1v1. Tournament matches that include commentary from AUrankAdminSaktoth and/or NLrank[XIV]Floris are also useful, particularly from the middle of last yaer.

If it is the former, I have some such videos but my play isn't that great, so I don't know how much they would help.

I recorded some games on twitch a while back. I didn't put much effort in so they're not great, might try again later but it serves the purpose if you just want to see decent 1v1 games from a different perspective. Randy's games on youtube are probably better though since he's usually better than me

Edit: If I do try again, I'll try doing the commentary thing like real twitch streamers. It's very eye-opening to watch recording rather than replay of your own game, can properly analyze how in-game time is spent. My mouse control seems quite messy sometimes too, clearly I need to play more Osu

Wow! I didn't expect so much goodies to be thrown down so quickly!

Thanks a ton, I'll be digging these mountains of chocolate up slowly, I hope other newbies will find these resources easier now too :)

I put a few of my games online. They're a bit old, not commentated and a bit low on quality. http://vimeo.com/user24262636

There has been a thread for this before, someone just has to find it.
