Having pack of glaives killing eco com at front then fac with no llt and all those winds is anti-fun, thus glaive needs its firerate reduced to 1 per sec, in a random 180-degree spread.

In old version of ZK they already had low firerate and bad accuracy.

But the point of war is victory. So they evolved and mitigated their weakness, just like in real life combat units see endless improvement.

What is an eco com doing in the front and why is there no LLT in front of your fac and/or windgens?

If it was glaives this time, then it will be scorchers, scythes (even nastier because you dont seen them coming), bandits, daggers, ducks or pyros next time.

Raiding is part of the game and it is one of things that glaives are quite good at.

Oversold it.

Are you trying to have us discount your prior balance claims as non-serious by flooding the forum with joke balance threads?

Can we talk about smoothing over the power in hovercrafts though. Scalpels are ridiculously good, and the rest of the factory is very...below average.

Halberds are fun and Pene can kill several times its metal if used correctly

wrong Fealthas.

Scalpels are no-fun and the rest of that factory needs a leveler sidearm to be no-fun too. :-)

The glaive is the most fun unit in the game. It is entirely your fault that you are incapable of defending against it.

Disagree. Also, anti-OK scalpels are the bedevil, seeing how raider>skirm stops working in their case.

"raider>skirm" stopped working in many cases long ago, this might have started with the 91.0 pathing changes where units clump up more while moving and was made worse by the recent overkill prevention (not to say overkill prevention is a bad thing).

Additionally more and more skirmishers that (semihard-)counter raiders were added:

In other words, yes Glaives (and other raiders) are much more "boring" than they used to be a few years ago. Though there's been some changes that helped them too, like the addition of SetTarget to prioritize juicy targets while dodge-dancing around inside the enemy base.

If Glaives are such a problem to you, next time please use a Battle Comm with Leveler sidearm.

Point of game is fun and having good units is boring as they require effort to counter. Designing units that are a walking/flying metal deliveries makes game much more fun suiciding them.

I think defender's name should be dynamically changed to "attacker" if you creep it into the enemy's base
