When a zenith hits max meteors (500) it appears to just drop the new ones in the base of the player with zenith and self damages it.
Suggest no more spawning when max is reached.

It drops the oldest, not the newest. They are dropped for !FUN! to encourage usage instead of constant buildup.

Yeah it is nice feature.
Perhaps a warning about critical amount of meteors reached could be added?

An actual warning would make perfect sense. Unit helptext/description would also be an appropriate place to inform potential users of potential consequences.

Helptext already says cap is 500 but nobody ever reads those.

I haven't had cause to build a Zenith. Does it tell you how many asteroids you currently have? If not, telling you the cap is 500 isn't very useful.

It does tell how many it has (in the tooltip).

Zenith has a very good case going for it currently:
1) Costs less than starlight
2) Conveniently instagibs starlight if such spotted
3) Looks cool
"Warning: meteor control limit reached!!!" warning would be so cool, especially as some kind of sound!

It already has the sound of meteors falling on your base :P
Just need a messsage explaining why.

Yeah a warning would be nice. Would have prevent this month's holder of the airforce general award (1+ million damage) from killing all of his teammates when his zenith dumped 500 meteors on their bases (this battle was the fated longcat-01 battle in which 27 detriments were unable to make the slightest bit of difference and only kamikaze swift spam ended it).

Not just kamikaze Swift spam. Also 10 Leviathans teleported to a pool made by nukes, using Djinn made by a comm who did sit in that pool just in front of enemy base for almost whole game after accidentally dropping from Vindi. It was all Karma. :D

Teleported Leviathans?! Awesome, that actually sounds like a hell of a thing, though I'm sure the game was an awful lagfest. :P

Trust me it is not :P
It is 2 hour lagfest, played with 0.4 speed at the end.

I got bored around 1 hour 10, 1 hour 20 and left. At that time it was 3-4 fps for me.
