There should be a new tournement for November 5th in honour of Guyfawkes, when he tried to blow up the British Houses of Parliament.

I don't think that's possible on a weekday.

Something like 8PM GMT would work on a weekend maybe, but you can't play until midnight or longer if you have to work the next day, and 8PM GMT is about 3PM in America, meaning people aren't back from work yet.

Maybe a longer form tournament could be held, with a running tally over a longer period of time with the players figuring out their own moments to play. It could then Start on Nov. 5th, but it would run for maybe a whole week.
