Dynasty vs Empire vs Federation - pick your side!

Also who wants to join my own federation clan, the Democratic Order of Planets, PM me in-game.

The clan is dedicated to the peace, love and galactic superweapons.

Empire is using enslaved AIs, federation probably lets some weakling AIs roam free.

I think Federation is the most appropriate faction to represent AI rights.

I imagine New Empire policy in regard to AI is subjugation, oppression, and slavery. Partially because Empire fought an all-out war agains the Machines, and partially because most of Empire leadership was what is now Dynasty.

That is, unless new leaders say otherwise, the remaining two factions' discussion of AI politics is whether AIs should be mostly lobotomized or mostly exterminated.

I imagine Federation as the backslash against the authoritarian Empire taking over every neutral world on the map, with the remaining few deciding to put their differences aside and restore a galactic republic of sorts. Such a polity wouldn't have much issue also supporting limited AI rights.

In essence what we have here are the Insane Overlords, the Crumbling Oligarchy and the Space Hippies.

Yeah I'm sitting back and havent chosen faction, but this time empire looks like the underdog.. I am so conflicted

Yeah deleting clans would be bad.

I'd much prefer it if clans just didn't choose the allegiance of their players, or if there were separate PW clans.

ATM I'm probably going to abandon TheGBC again, just because I don't like being on the team that default wins. IMO PW would be better with a 'picks' system where captains choose their followers one by one. It might even get people socialising outside of their existent circles.

Hmm. i think that need add maybe one more side who would be machine partisans.
PW could be great if offer wide customatisation ability but seems it too complicated. I mean like Ai faction who is controlled not by humans and make random attack with ZK AI on planets. Adding thing like chicken attack on planets which wipe out other factions and then somebody must fight them to regain control of planet or fight when chicks infestion start.
