Losing two mexes in an early raid is a major blow.
Losing a constructor in an early raid is game deciding.
Losing both is resignable if the enemy isn't trolling like in this case.

And all of this happened just thanks to Spring pathfinding and this map's cliffs.

Being good at ZK includes knowing how to fight the pathfinder.

A more detailed explanation what happened in this short time:
  • I noticed the incoming raid and sent my warrior uphill.
  • The warrior gets stuck on a location, I update my command to a nearer position to help out the pathfinder.
  • The warrior bumps into the defender and falls down the hill, gaining the glaives another 3 seconds of raiding time (=2 mex kills).
  • I update the command to the left, the warrior stumbles downwards a few more times but eventually reaches the top, everything has already been killed.
  • Constructor gets stuck on the cliff and dies before the warrior can turn around (Cut from the video)

Does the path map have a purple spot there?

Check for yourself. from what I know these cliffs aren't the Pathfinder's best friend due to their unpathable splatters.

Reported: https://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=5501. Thanks for clearly reporting.

The cliff does have a small purple spot next to the Defender which seems to cause some issue.

Fixed and applied: https://github.com/spring/spring/commit/47072a9d8b99baf862821a443a48c8c8d399b628

Nothing happens without a good bug report, but sufficiently good reports tend to lead to results.
