Have you ever seen porc?
3 Doomsday Machines and 10 Annihilators next to 5 or 6 fusions around 3 to 5 metal spots with many AA towers?
Have you ever resigned and used a nuke for it - but what to do when there are 2 or 3 anti nukes as well?

You don't need to spend more than 8000 metal to kill it - or anything so close together. ZK offers various ways to kill porc.

1. Raider groups do a lot of damage, but once the enemy get riots, stardust or Doomsday, they are waste.

2. Assaults have many health points - or HP - per metal unit.
* If you make vehicle-ravagers, a single Stinger need 3 shots for one of them - if they get their first shot on, retreat them and repair - if they get accidentally a second shot on while you retreat them, they are still alive.
* You lose nothing, but 1/3 energy for repairing, while the enemy has to rebuild.

3. Artillery units can attack as long as the enemy not leave his castle to strike back - the enemy has to deal with this damage over time.

4. Skuttle is a Jump-factory unit which can cloak itself and jump into defenses.
* If you can afford 600 metal for the factory and 550 for Skuttle, you can take out the AA to allow your air player to finish your job.
* You can also kill Stingers to allow your skirmishers to attack without return fire (and skirmishers have more damage than artillery of the same cost).
* You can also jump into his back and blow up his fusions or heavy units with < 8'000 HP - or coms

5. Catapult is a 4'000 metal bot with burst rockets. It has only 293 dps (the reload of 5 shields or an 4000 metal investment - shields + power supply), but it can attack and has a burst which is strong enough to drain more than 2 shields(3'600) with one shot or do 8'800 damage.

6. Silo: But you can do even more damage if you use your brain! Build a silo for 1200 metal and some EMP-nukes for 600 metal each (about 2200 to 2800 for 2 or 3 missiles). Stun the defense and raid it!
* You can blow up a shield-protected fusion with 2 tactic missiles, but 2 fusions with 3 (the first one drain the shield enough for the others to pass)

7. Ultimatum - if you want to keep your investment, build a strider hub, and some ultimatums (2000 metal each). You can move them to an equal distance to each stronger defense tower, make every one cloak and wait (yes WAIT with "W") and SHIFT-queue any move and attack orders. Once you press W again, they will execute your orders and kill every queued tower simultaneously.
* They do 1200 damage every 1.5 seconds and hit large units more than once.
* They can effectively kill most expensive units lonely.

8. Sumo (1900 metal jumper) does constantly 800 dps vs shields (until the engine get fixed). Keep it in a save distance and attack the ground within shields to drain the shields.
* Another advantage is, that you can indirectly drain your enemies energy resource by about 170 to 250 energy per second (Power supply of his Aegis/Aspis shield units).

Watch some Chicken games played by defense-minded players. Depending on how efficiently they build their defensive line, they'll last exactly until either the first Lobber wave, or the first Blobber wave.

And then they dissolve like wet tissue paper.

Tremor = Blobber. :)

I have played defensive chicken games before. The counter to blobbers/lobbers is not the behemoth (especially blobbers) or even a hold-fire razor's kiss.

It's tremor and wolverine spam.

The wolverine minefields reveal cloaked flame chickens, detonate suicide chickens and attract fire from lobbers until depleted. A multi-layered wolverine minefield (you can make about three layers) backed up with annis, DDMs, HLTs, stardusts, faradays and shields, and you need all of them, is impassable to ANY ground chicken wave short of queen or arty.
Flak cannon + screamer makes for absolute air defence.

On chicken roast, I parked about ten or so tremors whose sole job was to force fire at maximum range from my defense line. Lobbers and blobbers come in swarms and you have to be on your ball to retarget the tremors on attack ground to catch the pockets that make it through.
You have to do this before the blobbers kill your minefield. Once they start attacking the shields, they ignore mines.

Lastly, you need to make sure all your key economy is surrounded by faradays and llts for anti-digger defence, especially singularities and mohogeo. Ensure clear firing lines and for goodness sake, space them out!

After that, it's just a matter of reclaiming eggs and ODing to starlight before the chickens start to spawn spires. Either that or control agression by using gunships/lichos.

NOTE:
You do not have enough eco on most normal maps. It only works on chicken maps or ones with large flat open areas.

Cliffs are bitch to defend.

Yeah, ive seen pork. And the best way to deal with it is to bypass it and rape enemys backyard. People almost never build consistent uber-pork across all front, so you can easily sneak in Dante through lightly defended area or Scorp through hills. Even if they DO uber pork all front, you can sneak in dante while they still doing it. Ive ended quite a few games with uber pork in one place and defenders in another.
