trapped in for myself right now.
Use rapid! (Recommended anyways, it updates only necessary things)...

If you don't have rapid it should be available through "pip"

Install it using your package manager... Short help
Downloadsite: -PIP-

then:
pip install rapid-spring

-----

rapid clean-upgrade
just updates to stable version
to get specific version just use this command:
for current test version:

rapid -v Zero-K test-7550

It will ask you if you want to uninstall older versions. Just answer NO to keep stable version.

You are done!

Sadly, the module fails to install correctly on Gentoo. I've filed a bug report on github.

Anyone know where the test builds are distributed from? It would be nice if I could just direct download it...

It doesn't install the rapid classes.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/rapid", line 4, in module
from rapid.ui.text.main import main
ImportError: No module named rapid.ui.text.main

Thanks for the help Roger. If you have rapid installed, with the following command line you can download the test version required for PW.

rapid pin zk:revision:7550

Also with command rapid list-tags will show all available engines that can be downloaded with its corresponding name where you can choose from.

That's it.

Last time i checked, rapid didn't distribute the engine, only content. Surely, you mean 'game' or 'mod'.

You can also use pr-downloader (https://github.com/abma/pr-downloader).
$ pr-downloader zk:revision:7562

What happens when you try to compile and which source you used?
Maybe you can use this?
